Core-Banking Ready LOS & LMS for Banking Operations

From manual lending coordination to a structured pre-core lending workflow ready for banking operations.

Application Intake → KYC & Scoring → Approval Workflow → Fulfillment → Core Banking Handoff

Before Capio

A banking client needed a digital lending platform to support loan origination and lending management before data is booked into the bank's core banking system. The lending process was fragmented: applications could be received through multiple channels, documents were scattered, credit memos were prepared manually, approvals were handled through email or WhatsApp, and approved data had to be re-input into the core banking system. This created slower turnaround time, weaker audit trail, inconsistent analysis quality, and higher operational risk.

Manual application intake

Scattered documents

Manual credit memo preparation

Approval through email / WhatsApp

Re-input into core banking

Weak visibility over lending pipeline

What Capio Found
  • Lending intake was not centralized across channels
  • Loan status tracking was difficult for management and officers
  • Document completeness and validation were hard to monitor
  • Credit assessment and policy rule evaluation needed standardization
  • Approval routing needed to follow product, amount, risk grade, branch, and authority matrix
  • Audit trail and approval history needed to be strengthened
  • Core banking should remain the system of record, while LOS/LMS should act as the pre-core workflow and preparation layer
  • API/middleware readiness was needed to support clean data handoff into the core system
